Sex is liberation!

Pleasure is healing!

Shaina Singh, LCSW, CCM, Austin, psychotherapy, therapist, LGBTQ, life coach, 512, five one two,
Feel free to stay, browse around on my site, and learn more about my work here in Austin as a Psychotherapist and Dating Coach.

Hi there & welcome!

Are you struggling with relationship challenges with an intimate partner, parent, relative, friend, self, or in the dating world? Does this leave you feeling stuck in a rut and frustrated and looking for hope, strength, and solutions?

Many of my clients begin to feel better as we explore solutions together and find things they can immediately start doing differently to provide relief.

I am a trauma-informed, relationship-focused, AASECT-certified sex therapist licensed in Texas, Oregon, and Vermont. This means I can provide therapy in Texas, Oregon (telehealth), and Vermont (telehealth). I am also a relationship coach and dating coach and can work with people across the US.

I work with individuals, couples, partnerships, or whatever your relationship may look like. I believe that we all deserve to be in thriving and healthy relationships. I work with single people seeking support in the dating world, pre-marital counseling, and partners seeking support in their relationships.

Choosing the right therapist for oneself is an important decision. It is necessary because it directly impacts one's progress in sessions. I believe that you are the expert in your life. You know what works well and what doesn't work well. I consider being a therapist a privilege. I aim to walk by your side, help you explore solutions, and offer hope. My approach is compassionate, nonjudgmental, encouraging without any pressure, and straightforward without being harsh.

I am a trauma-informed, sex-positive, poly, and kink-friendly-affirmative psychotherapist, sex therapist, and dating and relationship coach. I am an advocate and a part of the LGBTQIA2S+ community in Austin, Texas. I approach therapy through an anti-oppression, social justice, anti-racism, and inclusivity lens. I believe that reproductive justice is directly tied to racial and social justice. I am dedicated to being an ally and advocate for the Black community.

A Holistic Approach to Therapy:

Our bodies hold memories beyond words—grief, trauma, anger, regret, and the weight of racial and generational pain often live deep within us, surfacing as physical tension, unease, or even numbness. In my work as a psychotherapist and sex therapist, I integrate somatic release techniques—using breath, movement, and sound—into traditional talk therapy to help clients metabolize these stuck emotions, creating space for healing, renewal, and growth in all areas of life, including intimate relationships.

We carry trauma, grief, and past experiences in our bodies, often unknowingly, and these embodied memories impact how we connect, trust, and experience pleasure. By acknowledging our physical and emotional burdens, we can process and release what talk therapy alone may not reach. This holistic approach allows us to reconnect deeply with our bodies, integrate and release the past, and reclaim a sense of peace, resilience, and authenticity. Whether you’re navigating personal healing or seeking support for relational and sexual well-being, this work empowers you to feel present, whole, and truly alive.

“Shakti” Pronounced: shaak·tee

Shakti means “power” in Hindi. Shakti represents power, energy, or force. It is often personified as the goddess Devi, the divine feminine consort of Shiva.  At the deepest level, Shakti transcends gender.

As we traverse the realms of healing, both seeker and guide, we carry the essence of our hearts and spirits into the sacred sanctuary of therapy.
